“I focus on a topic that is difficult to include in everyday conversations: FGM (female genital mutilation). It’s not only because of the graphic content. It involves the sensitive subject of female genitalia which, combined, make it taboo to speak about. But if we don’t have the discussion then we will not make a change!
My Creative Conscience award was the start of my passion for creating challenging campaigns. That definitely gave me the confidence to go on and do more campaigns about social change. Shortly after I won the award, my project was highlighted on designweek.co.uk.”
