The brief 

The Credit Card company Capital One has a vision to make lives better through offering credit card that both enable and protect. Whilst the brand may now be best known now for the Capital One Cup it is always in the top 10 of the UK’s best employers and was among the first financial services company to balance its commercial activities with a strong programme of community support in its home City of Nottingham.

We were asked to help them with a major review, streamline and refresh their local community CSR programme by getting to grips with what key local stakeholders understood and thought about what they were doing in Nottingham.

Our approach 

The work involved consultation with a wide range of influencers and opinion formers, beneficiary groups and organisations and the internal management team and identified where they should focus their efforts and their communications in the future. Subsequently, we worked with them to negotiate and shape a commercial partnership for them with YouthNet around giving young people financial confidence.
